We hope that you enjoy our site and obtain valuable information about retriever training and choosing a trainer. 

Johnson Kennels strongly recommends that each dog owner does their "homework" when choosing a trainer and training facility. 

We recommend that you visit the kennel, talk to the trainer and client references and attend training sessions. 

It is very important that you feel comfortable and that your prospective hunting companion is happy.

We strive to produce obedient gun dogs and advanced/competition dogs, as well as a companion that the whole family can enjoy. 

We take great pride in our work.  Our current and past clientele is primarily in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. 

We have also had clients from South Dakota, South Carolina, Utah and Maine.

Our facility currently has 23 kennels.  5 of which are for our personal dogs and puppies and the remaining 18 are for client dogs. 

By maintaining a maximum number of dogs, it allows us to train each dog twice a day.
